Urban Legacy Tournament Update

Timeline;  Wednesday, Oct. 29th, 2008

To all the concerned and much appreciated people that have been asking about what would have been the third annual Urban Legacy Tournament. It is my duty to fill you in on what is going on. 

Unfortunately, due to illness in the family of one of my sponsors of this revered event, we will not be having the Urban Legacy Tournament this year (2008).  Although they have diligently aspired to seek a suitable location for this event, and were still trying to find such a location at the time of my last conversation with them just yesterday, despite the dire situation they are experiencing in their own private life.  I found this to be altruism at it's finest...

Be that as it may, I asked them to please let it go for this year.  That we must all prioritize what is most important in our lives, and I feel family/spouses are number #1 priority. I feel that all their attention should be focused on the family situation at this time. I told them not to worry, because we will be as dad would say, " better than ever'" next year!! They too assured me that was indeed correct. 

So in closing, please know that all those that were concerned and anxious to participate in this prestigious event will be welcome  and able to do so next year!  I personally look forward to, as I'm sure my great sponsors do as well, seeing everyone at that event next year "bright eyed, and bushy tailed", and ready to compete. I hope to see you all  there for a grateful hug and a smile... OSSmy friends!!!
